According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 11, 2022 "On approval of the National Program for the Development of Public Education in 2022-2026", the monthly salaries of librarians working in secondary schools will be increased from September 1, 2022 as follows.
Including in general secondary schools:
the current monthly salary of the head of the library with higher education is 1,376,803 soums, from September 1, 2022 - 1,652,164 soums, and the salary of a librarian with higher education - from 1,151,818 soums to 1,382,182 soums;
In addition, the current monthly salary of the director of the library with secondary special education is 1,261,867 soums, and from September 1, 2022, the salary of a librarian with the same information will increase from 1,094,227 soums to 1,313,072 soums.
In addition to the state budget to increase the salaries of library staff, a total of about 50 billion annually. soums will be increased.
