WINNERS OF “ONE MILLION UZBEK PROGRAMMERS” PROJECT ANNOUNCED

It is known that since 2019, the project "One Million Programmers" is being implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Education, the Ministry of ICT and the Dubai Future Foundation of the United Arab Emirates.

As part of the project, a platform (uzbekcoders.uz) was launched, which allows students to study IT for free in 4 areas. Graduates who successfully complete all courses will receive certificates and the opportunity to study in the Nanodegree program on the Udacity platform.

In the 2019-2020 academic year, the Ministry of Public Education, in cooperation with the Ministry of ICT and the IT Park, launched the project "One Million Programmers" in secondary schools in a pandemic.

In 2020, 4 students, in 2021, 6 students and 8 teachers will be the winners of the competition? won a total of $ 15,000.

In addition, schools No. 2 in Karmana district and No. 39 in Kungrad district, which showed the best results, were presented with the President's Gift - Spark car, and teachers of computer science were awarded the badge "Excellence in Public Education."

Under the project, 100 best computer science teachers from schools who have successfully completed the training courses will be awarded annually in the amount of 20 times the basic calculation amount.

In the 2019-2020 academic year, 100 computer science teachers received 446 million soums, and in the 2020-2021 academic year, 100 computer science teachers received 490 million soums.
