Aims of this project are: increase of quality of general middle education in the Republic of Uzbekistan, by means of development and penetration of ICT into educational process; provision of 1518 schools with modern computer classes; organization of CDMEP; organization of educational web-portal; organization of a studio for the development of multimedia educational online resources; carrying of training courses.

 

         In future all schools will be connected to the Center one by one, access to informational and educational resources of the web-portal will be provided.

         The project consists of the following 7 components, which are tightly connected with each other:

 

        1. Provision of educational computer rooms to general education schools. The aim of the component is provision of 1518 general education schools of the republic with modern educational-computer rooms, including a set of system and applied equipment.

       2. Settlement of the Center of development of multimedia education programs . 

       3. Organization of educational web-portal of MOPE. The aim of the component is to increase effectiveness of educational process and central administration, by means of provision of complete information and administration resources.

       4. Expert works. The aim of the component is to carry out expert works by preparation in initial steps realization of the project, provision of consulting services.

       5. Partner training program. The aim of the component is to carry out trainings for teachers, programmers and administrators.

       6. Consulting services by buying and monitoring. The aim of the component is provision of timely and purposeful realization of the project, preparation and conducting  the bidding, monitoring.

       7. Organization of school network Intranet with connection of schools to information educational portal MOPE of the RoU. The aim of the component is connection of branches of the MOPE into one information unit with common net resources and a set of telecommunication services, such as transfer of data, possibility of conducting videoconnection séances.
