Uzbekistan to take part in the international festival on robotics - “RoboFest 2020”

A team from Uzbekistan will take part in the RobotFest 2020 international festival in robotics in Nizhny Novgorod.

The festival, which will be held on 22-23 January 2020, will bring together teams from more than 70 countries, including champions in robotics: South Korea, China, and the United States.

Uzbekistan’s robotics team includes: Sukhrob Khaidarov, Rashid Rashidov, Bektimir Miruktamov, Jafar Arifjanov. The team’s coach was Ozodbek Khodjaev.

The directions in which the competitions will be held are:

- “HELLO, ROBOT! LEGO®;

- “HELLO, ROBOT! »OPEN;

- The regional stage of the Robofest schoolchildren’s olympiad;

- AutoNet 14+;

- EcoNet 10+;

- Engineering project;

- FLL, FLL JUNIOR, FTC.

Sukhrob Khaidarov is a 15-year-old IT-Center mentor in the city of Navoi in the field of robotics, who became known for creating such IT products as Smart Cell and Robot Max.

“ROBOFEST” is the largest in Europe and one of the largest festivals in the world, annually gathering the best participants in scientific and technical creativity aged 6 to 30 years who present their unique developments. This is a platform not only for competitions in robotics, but also for educational, gaming and entertainment programs: presentations, master classes, interactive lectures. As part of the traditional festival, a business program is organized, contests for partners and resource centers of the program, tours for schoolchildren are held.
